Unstuff has no petroleum base; the the large market products do. Petroleum is only topical, it will not heal sore noses, it only traps moisture in the skin by blocking its evaporation.
We have used coconut and safflower oils as our base, as they are healing by nature and will soak into sore, dry skin. Coconut oil has an added advantage of being a good anti-bacterial, anti-viral agent.
We use pure menthol which will help take down swollen tissue, and eucalyptus which has similar properties. The peppermint works to clear stuffy noses and sinuses as well as having a pleasant odor. Plantain is known for its ability to heal tissue, draw out toxins, and kill bacteria.
